Week 1

Week beginning Monday 5th February 2024. We had a fun week in class this week.... we enjoyed some outdoor play when the weather was nice and dry, and we also learnt some fascinating facts about penguins as part of our World Around Us lessons. We planned and drew a home for a penguin at the zoo and we used pastels to create our very own penguin pictures, paying particular attention to the different features of a penguin. As part of our PATHS lesson we learnt more about how to ‘Do Turtle’ and how we can use this technique to help deal with big feelings like anger or upset. We love iPad and Bee-Bot time and explored different ways to jump and climb during PE sessions.
