Week 1

Week Beginning Monday 4th December 2023. Another busy but fun week in SCC this week! We have been busy working on our literacy and numeracy skills in class and we all really enjoyed learning about length in topic maths. We have been comparing the size and length of objects and some of us used cubes, hand spans and cm rulers to measure the length of different classroom items. We are finishing off our space topic and this week we designed our own planets! We named our planets and then we talked about what the looked like, what you could do there, the weather on the planets and how far they were from the sun. We had some very interesting ideas! During iPad time we used a drawing app to draw our planets! We also enjoyed music and outdoor play time this week, and we had fun doing different Christmas activities and crafts!
