Local Community

Lurgan Model's involvement in the local community

The school enjoys a range of other partnerships with a variety of organisations, businesses and community groups. We are always looking to explore new connections. We are also interested in opening our school for wider community use. If you would like to link with us, please contact the school.

Ecumenical links

The school has a strong link with St. Peter’s Parish, especially in relation to sacramental activities for Catholic pupils. Our children are prepared for sacramental activities through our own in-house arrangements.

The school has links with numerous other churches in the town including but not limited to:

  • Emanuel
  • Shankill Parish Church of Ireland
  • High Street Methodist
